Weekend trip crossdressed – Frankfurt to Hamburg

The day started out on bad note. I kind of had to push my wife out the door in the morning, as my train was leaving at 1 p.m. from Frankfurt Central Station and I had to make sure to leave home by noon the latest. It simply is easier, both practically and emotionally, to not have anybody around when I get ready, especially when things may get tight, and I run the risk of getting nervous. Everything is geared towards one goal on departure day: to sit on the ICE high-speed train on time, to be fully made up and properly dressed, and to have packed everything I need for my days en femme without fail. “I hate being forced to go to work in the middle of the night” she said when she stepped through the door of our apartment at 8:15 a.m. Portraits of the day What makes elevator shots so interesting? I guess they symbolize a moment of transition. The elevator brings you from private space to public space. Stepping inside the elevator, pressing the ground floor button, the door closing – your f...

Weekend trip crossdressed – Getting ready to head to Hamburg

Travelling en femme is an absolute thrill. And the great city of Hamburg was Franzi's newest target. Granted, weekend trip number six wasn’t as nerve wrecking anymore as weekend trips number one and two were, but nonetheless, travelling en femme has lost nothing of its excitement, especially as I continue to pick new places to visit en femme and new venues to attend. This was the second weekend trip crossdressed that I was able to extend to four days, leaving before noon on Thursday (photo on the left) and returning in the late afternoon on Sunday (photo on the right). And this is what happened in between – entirely and exclusively en femme! B us ride to the local train station Subway ride to Frankfurt central station A 400 km / 250 miles ICE high-speed train ride to Hamburg Subway ride and short walk to the hotel Check-in at hotel Dinner at Thai restaurant Visit to a hip cocktail bar Shopping and sightseeing Lunch at “Passagenviertel” Classical concert at “Elbphilharmonie” Wine an...

Tosca

After a relaxed day out-and-about in her new Skinny Jeans, Franzi went home to change into an outfit suitable for the opera. Today’s performance at Opera Frankfurt was “Tosca,” which I hadn’t seen yet, I think. After a day in blue and black, I was in the mood for some color. “Tosca” is an opera in three acts – based on the drama “La Tosca” from Victorien Sardou – which was written and composed by Giacomo Antonio Domenico Michele Secondo Maria Puccini. Its premiere was in 1900 in Rome. The story is about love, political intrigue, and betrayal. The singer Tosca tries to save her lover Cavaradossi from the corrupt police chief Scarpia, but deception leads to tragedy and the deaths of all three. Is it culturally particularly valuable? I don’t think so. Was it entertaining? Very few parts were. Nonetheless, it provided a very welcome opportunity for Franzi to dress up and to go out. The outfit of the evening was a lovely LBD that I have had for easily 10 years. You have seen it in previous ...

Out-and-About in Skinny Jeans

Have you worn Jeans out en femme? Granted, wearing Jeans is something I do in DRAB very, very regularly. And, obviously, Jeans do not provide that flowing, silky feeling of a dress or skirt that most crossdressers enjoy so much. But, nonetheless, it is (or can be) a decidedly feminine appearance. For the look on that day in late September, I combined a new pair of 31/30 Skinny Jeans and black belt with a tight semi see-through flower-pattern black top (with a black cotton body underneath), a short black leather jacket, hose, and black ankle boots. It was a regular day out-and-about, the ones you have read about many times here on my blog. I got ready in the late morning and headed out around 12 noon. As it was nice weather, I walked the 25 minutes along the river “Main” to downtown Frankfurt, with some photo ops taken on the way. Thereafter, I headed straight to “Kleinmarkthalle,” that temple for food lovers in the heart of the city. Don’t miss it if you ever come to Frankfurt. I visit...

Offices, salons, restaurants and wine bars – a Christmas story of sort

At the end of a long and demanding Friday – and an equally relentless seventy-plus-hour workweek  –  Franzi, a successful corporate hotshot at the center of Frankfurt’s male-dominated financial district, finally shut down her laptop. She wished her associates a good evening and weekend, gathered her things, grabbed her handbag, and left her office on the 34th floor, determined to reward herself with a proper dinner and a drink – or two. Franziska – as her staff respectfully calls her – wore one of her many tailored two-piece skirt suits, seasonally paired with black, soft-shaft boots. As she strode past his desk, her assistant muttered a barely audible “Cute.” Franzi paused, turned around, and responded with one of her captivating smiles and a soft, effortless “Thank you.” His face immediately flushed crimson. First things first: bubbles (I hope you remember my posting on  bubble classification and denomination ). A stylish bar downtown provided exactly what she...

The Addams Family OR I locked myself out

In terms of Franzi’s outings, this week in September 2025 was great. My wife was away for the entire week, and I planned and carried out three outings en femme within 7 days. It is not that I am trying to hide anything from her. It is simply having little better to do when she is away. I mentioned before that our location provides for ample opportunities to enjoy culture, due to the fact that we live in the mini-Metropolis Frankfurt and have two state capitals Wiesbaden, the capital of Hesse, the state where Frankfurt is located, and Mainz, the capital of Rhineland-Palatinate, in close proximity (around 45 km each). On that Sunday in late September, I took a day trip to Mainz. I had bought a ticket for “The Addams Family” at “Staatstheater” (Stately Theater) Mainz, and as taking public transport back to Frankfurt late in the evening can be a challenge, I took the car to get to Mainz. And since my wife was away with my car, I got to enjoy taking her convertible. Portraits of the day Dur...
