Weekend trip crossdressed: Departure after a deadly weekend – for a many!

I cannot believe how many deaths this weekend trip had seen: Mercutio, Tybalt Capulet, Count Paris, Romeo Montague, Juliet Capulet, Lady Montague, Adonis, Lucy Westenra, Lord Godalming, Quincey Morris, Renfield, and Count Dracula himself. Otherwise, it was a pretty festive and enjoyable trip again for Franziska, something well worth to be repeated. And to be honest, her third weekend trip had already taken place by the time this report is posted. Stay tuned or sign up as a follower, to make sure you don’t miss anything. For the trip home, Franziska had chosen for a very red and very silky satin blouse, contrasting the short black skirt, the black leather jacket, and the black boots. Portrait of the day. At Munich Central Station with a cup of coffee, waiting for the train to depart.  On the train, wearing my most favorite large hoop earrings - I have the same ones in gold and silver color. Did I mention before that I have both each pierced? My first piercing - right side - was done...

Weekend trip crossdressed: Dressing up for Dracula

“Deutsches Theater Munich” was showing “Dracula” as a musical that night. So, how do you dress up for Count Dracula? A sparkly LBD, fishnets, heels, an anklet, and a choker sounded about right. At “Deutsches Theater Munich” before the show and during intermission. A night cap at the hotel bar. “The way Franzi does it!” (#3)   The four key elements to passing as a woman – according to Franzi. Going out en femme is a fantastic experience and so much fun. And if the impression grows on you that you can pass as a woman, it gets even better.   It is my ambition to pass – in other words, I prefer to pass over being read. According to my experience, there are four key elements to passing as a woman:  outfit, face, gait, and posture. Those are the four key challenges that I continue to work on every time I go out.   Putting together a fantastic outfit is very easy if you have a good sense for style, colors, and fabrics – and if you have a full closet to choose from. I compos...

Weekend trip crossdressed: “Venus and Adonis” at “Alte Pinakothek”

Saturday morning in Munich. What better to do (since shopping had already been taken care of the day before) than to visit one of the many great museums in the Bavarian capitol. Portrait of the day. “Pinakothek” is a word of Greek origin, describing the room in a house or temple where the panel paintings were stored. The “Pinakotheken” in Munich are well worth a visit. For this trip, I chose the “Alte Pinakothek” (Old Collection of Paintings), at which paintings from the 15 th  to the 18 th  century are on display. This painting seemed to be a suitable background for a picture of crossdressed Franziska. It depicts Venus, the Roman goddess of love, erotic desire, and beauty and Adonis, an allegory for and god of beauty in Greek and Roman mythology, who’s beauty seduced even Venus and made her come down to earth in search of him. It was painted by Dutch painter Hendrick Goltzius in 1614, I presume relating to Shakespeare's 1593 poem of the same title. Adonis, by the way, lost hi...

Weekend trip crossdressed: “Romeo and Juliet” at “Bayerische Staatsoper”

The “Bayerische Staatsoper” (Bavarian state opera) was founded in 1653 and nowadays plays at the beautiful “Nationaltheater” (National Theater) from 1818, located at the heart of Munich. People show up dressed very elegantly and the whole atmosphere is simply fantastic. The performance that evening was William Shakespeare’s “Romeo & Juliet” as a ballet, which Franziska greatly enjoyed. What sounds like a simple (but tragic) love story, provides for complexities that I was very curious to see how this will be communicated in a ballet performance. Granted, knowing the plot well makes it a lot easier to interpret the scene and to enjoy the acting. A wonderful compliment! While Franziska enjoyed a glass of Champagne before the performance, a handsome middle-aged man appeared next to her and – with a great smile on his face – said “Sie sehen todschick aus!” (“You look absolutely smashing!”). This ballet performance had two intermissions, one of 30 minutes and one of 15 minutes. Hence, F...

Weekend trip crossdressed: Heading out for a night of culture and elegance

This will be a short one - sort of a teaser 😀 Portrait of the evening. This was the very first time that Franziska wore this floor-length black evening gown that had been hanging in her closet for several years. It was accompanied by a dark blue satin bolero, 8 cm dark blue heels, and a black clutch bag. The pearl earrings and necklace, you have seen in earlier postings, typically with evening wardrobe. Those two pictures below were again taken in the basement of the hotel, in the corridor between ball and conference rooms before taking a taxi to the opera. It was a great evening at the opera, I can tell you this much already. So, stay tuned for more pictures of Franziska in that wonderful evening gown and for the best compliment yet received for my looks. Weekend trip crossdressed: Exploring Munich’s shopping quality

Unfortunately, the weather was very poor that day and Franziska had to flee the streets into a café, a shop, or a bar on several occasions. This is the outfit of the day, a striped dress (as you will see in a bit), burgundy suede ankle boots, and a light double-breasted coat. A rain shower drove Franziska into this long-standing Munich bakery for a yummy Caf è  Latte. “Greetings from Munich” is what it says on the gingerbread heart. The white and blue rim designates that it as Bavarian. It is white and blue, not blue and white in Bavaria, don’t get that wrong. One for the Irish amongst my readers 😗 . I love dress shopping, did I mention that before? The “Viktualienmarkt” – initially a farmer’s market in the center of Munich – close to the well-known landmark “Frauenkirche” (Cathedral of Our Dear Lady, NOT Women’s Church), is a place I have visited a number of times in my life. It is a great place to try and buy delicacies – and to have a drink somewhere. Another landmark in Munich...

Weekend trip crossdressed: Enjoying a fantastic bar and restaurant

After check-in at the hotel, Franziska unpacked that huge suitcase and got herself ready for dinner. Portrait of the evening. This is one of the dresses you might recognize from Franziska’s shopping spree the month before: nice colors, nice texture, nice flow. Photos before heading out to dinner.   The restaurant Franziska had picked for the evening was located in a 5-star luxury hotel about a 10 to 15 minute walk from Franziska’s 4-star hotel. I had made reservations at its elegant Italian restaurant and as I was a little early, I had a drink at the adjoining bar. This is where I had the bartender take this picture. After the drink, Franziska moved over to the restaurant and enjoyed an evening with great food, great wine, and great services. And all of you who read this blog regularly, know how much that means to Franziska. I do not want to deteriorate into a food blog, but here are two of the four courses that Franziska enjoyed that evening. A single, large ravioli on a bed of...

Weekend trip crossdressed: Journey by train to Munich

As announced last week, with this post, I will start a series of postings on Franziska’s four-day trip to Munich in early November 2022. As with the trip to Stuttgart in July 2022, this little adventure was again entirely en femme from home to home with no fallback position. Portrait of the day. Do you remember the COVID-19 pandemic? Yeah, back in the years 2020 to 2022, we had a lot of restrictions to everyday life to deal with. It seems so long ago already. One of the longest-standing restriction in the world, seems to have been the requirement to wear face masks on German trains. Frankfurt central station is a very busy place at times and if you are not careful, you may easily be run over by someone or suddenly miss something. Imagine, your wife is away for the weekend, you head out the door for a weekend trip yourself – crossdressed – and before you make it onto the first train, someone steals your handbag with your purse, your ID, your money, your credit cards, and your home keys....
