Weekend trip crossdressed: Exploring Munich’s shopping quality

Unfortunately, the weather was very poor that day and Franziska had to flee the streets into a café, a shop, or a bar on several occasions. This is the outfit of the day, a striped dress (as you will see in a bit), burgundy suede ankle boots, and a light double-breasted coat. A rain shower drove Franziska into this long-standing Munich bakery for a yummy Caf è  Latte. “Greetings from Munich” is what it says on the gingerbread heart. The white and blue rim designates that it as Bavarian. It is white and blue, not blue and white in Bavaria, don’t get that wrong. One for the Irish amongst my readers 😗 . I love dress shopping, did I mention that before? The “Viktualienmarkt” – initially a farmer’s market in the center of Munich – close to the well-known landmark “Frauenkirche” (Cathedral of Our Dear Lady, NOT Women’s Church), is a place I have visited a number of times in my life. It is a great place to try and buy delicacies – and to have a drink somewhere. Another landmark in Munich is

Weekend trip crossdressed: Enjoying a fantastic bar and restaurant

After check-in at the hotel, Franziska unpacked that huge suitcase and got herself ready for dinner. Portrait of the evening. This is one of the dresses you might recognize from Franziska’s shopping spree the month before: nice colors, nice texture, nice flow. Photos before heading out to dinner.   The restaurant Franziska had picked for the evening was located in a 5-star luxury hotel about a 10 to 15 minute walk from Franziska’s 4-star hotel. I had made reservations at its elegant Italian restaurant and as I was a little early, I had a drink at the adjoining bar. This is where I had the bartender take this picture. After the drink, Franziska moved over to the restaurant and enjoyed an evening with great food, great wine, and great services. And all of you who read this blog regularly, know how much that means to Franziska. I do not want to deteriorate into a food blog, but here are two of the four courses that Franziska enjoyed that evening. A single, large ravioli on a bed of  saut

Weekend trip crossdressed: Journey by train to Munich

As announced last week, with this post, I will start a series of postings on Franziska’s four-day trip to Munich in early November 2022. As with the trip to Stuttgart in July 2022, this little adventure was again entirely en femme from home to home with no fallback position. Portrait of the day. Do you remember the COVID-19 pandemic? Yeah, back in the years 2020 to 2022, we had a lot of restrictions to everyday life to deal with. It seems so long ago already. One of the longest-standing restriction in the world, seems to have been the requirement to wear face masks on German trains. Frankfurt central station is a very busy place at times and if you are not careful, you may easily be run over by someone or suddenly miss something. Imagine, your wife is away for the weekend, you head out the door for a weekend trip yourself – crossdressed – and before you make it onto the first train, someone steals your handbag with your purse, your ID, your money, your credit cards, and your home keys.

Next steps!

Since my last recollection under the post title “Next Steps!” on March 10, 2023, Franziska has provided you with 9 postings, including those covering a fantastic 3-day trip crossdressed to Stuttgart in July 2022. Just thinking about this, about the beautiful clothes I got to wear and the wonderful outfits I was able to put together, makes me shiver. By now, I have taken two more trips en femme, one covering four days – Thursday till Sunday – in November 2022 to Munich and one covering two days en femme (followed by a return trip in drab on Sunday morning) just recently to Cologne. Both trips were again nothing less than fantastic. All plans worked out fine, no issues arose, and I was again able to experience new activities en femme and to wear wonderful new outfits.  Next week, I will start to report about the trip to Munich in a total of eight blog postings. These include activities enjoyed en femme, such as train traveling, eating out, shopping, exploring Schwabing, strolling over th
