Weekend trip crossdressed: “Killepitsch” at “Et Kabüffke"

This having been a chilly morning, Franzi went back to her hotel room to change into a different (and warmer) outfit. The next step was lunch, being the first bite to eat that day. Maintaining my target weight (...) requires certain sacrifices and breakfast is (just) one of them. Lunch – pasta with truffles – at an Italian restaurant. Service was great – and very attentive 😀 . I love attentive waiters. And you might have noticed that more than half a Saturday went by without any shopping, yet. And exploring different (local) stores and boutiques is one of the great benefits of travelling en femme. A staple to any visit to Düsseldorf was to follow afterwards: a visit to “Et Kabüffke“ to have a “Killepitsch.” “Killepitsch” is a digestive liquor, consisting, apparently, of 98 different secret ingredients from all over the world. And there it is, Franzi’s “Killepitsch” Cheers! And as this is the capital of “Altbier” and the aforementioned brewery is located right across from “Et Kabüffke”...

Weekend trip crossdressed: She had legs so long, she could walk along the riverbank in her short dress and create a coffee-themed sculpture

What an AI failure! I had asked to create a funny headline for this posting by using its keywords. I will revert to writing them myself. That’s decided. Saturday morning and ready to hit the town. Düsseldorf has a reputation for stylish clothes. So this was a great opportunity for my wonderful scuba dress to make a showing again. Portrait of the day “Die Streitenden” (bickerers) or “Auseinandersetzung” (dispute) are names for this well-known sculpture in Düsseldorf’s Mittelstraße (Middle Street). The figures are also called “Der Dicke” (the corpulent one) and “Der Dünne” (the skinny one) – no wonder. “Das Schnuckelchen” (the cutie) is what my wife would call the one in the middle. I hope you agree! And then I found a lovely little café where I stopped for a Café Latté. Further down my path through the city center, I came along a small patch of green around Neanderkirche. If you remember my reference to Neandertal (Neander valley) in an earlier posting, you might now think that this chu...

Retrospection – One of my dearest cute summer dresses

We are still in the retrospective mode here, looking at June 2018. I want to build some tension for the newer stuff from the second half of 2023, to follow in a couple of weeks. And we are still in this period of my life where I worked and lived elsewhere during the week, allowing me to enjoy more frequent but shorter outings on weeknights. Portraits of the evening A very cute dress that I bought this evening, which I still own, but which I unfortunately very rarely wear. And black sandals go with almost anything, as most of you know. That is the post title subject. I love this dress and I try to wear it at least once every summer. The last time you have seen it, was during my 2023 weekend trip to Cologne, which of course was years after this occasion here in 2018. And guess what, in this city they had a large department store (and still have, which is not a given in many cities), and guess again, that store had (and still has) sort of a Champagne bar. And as we all know, Franzi is mag...

Weekend trip crossdressed: Moulin Rouge!

The musical “Moulin Rouge!” premiered in Boston in 2019 and performances at Cologne’s Musical Dome started in November 2022. It was  the  highlight of the trip. As you know, Franzi loves opera, ballet, theater, musical, but this one was special because of its hot nightclub atmosphere, the juicy stage outfits, and slightly sizzling sexy innuendo. And of course, there was the obligatory crossdresser in this night club show, being one the dancing staff of the club, and there were some funny jokes around him, or by him.   The musical dome was a mere 10-minute walk from my hotel and the first two pictures were taken on the way there.   Portrait of the evening. This was the first time that I wore this wonderful ensemble of dress and blazer. I love the color and the texture and guess what, I found a silky scarf in my large selection to go with it. As mentioned before, I had splurged on a ticket for a great seat right behind the orchestra pit and I also booked a seat in the ...
