A simple daytime outing in a long leather skirt and Italian lingerie

We continue to dip into the archives of 2018, here in early November. A regular day out and about for Franziska tends to start between 11 am and noon. I love the ritual of getting ready in the morning and if I can afford the time, I will spend – depending on how much preparation I may have been able to do the day or evening before – two to three hours before I head out the door. I listen to some girly music, I do my nails and stuff, I run around in my undies, and I take some pictures of Franziska at home. By the time I am ready to step out, hunger has crept in, and this day was no different.  Portrait of the day Franziska thus headed to her all-time favorite, the Kleinmarkthalle, this market-hall temple for food-lovers, and to the same place where she will be having lunch in later outings that were already reported upon ( January 2019 ,  April 2019 , March 2022 ). It’ a time warp – just jump to the left, and then a step to the right. At this very place, I have also been numerous times

Practice makes the mistress!

Dipping into the archives of 2018! This day out and about in Frankfurt was very different from the last day out and about in Frankfurt. Let me tell you why. As I had reported, I started going out en femme deliberately, planned, and with the intention to develop the skills needed to pass as of 2013. The first two years were challenging, at times uncomfortable, and I know that have been read many times.   In 2015, I received a new professional challenge and spent the week elsewhere, while being at home on the weekends only. This situation allowed me to regularly find time for shorter outings in the evening during the week, some of them lasting not more than an hour or two. These opportunities – combined with a growing wardrobe and set of accessories – lead to an accelerated development of the skills needed to feel very comfortable out en femme and to be able to pass more easily. In the middle of 2018, the assignment came to an end, and I reverted to full days out and about in Frankfurt –

Next steps!

On January 20 th , 2023, a posting called “Next steps!” announced that it was time to move into 2022. And into 2022 we moved! I published 24 postings on Franziska’s 16 days out and about in the year 2022, including two fantastic weekend trips. In the coming weeks, I’ll be dipping into the archives a bit and report on the second half of the year 2018, before we move to Franzi's days out and about in 2023. Given the fact that it’s been five years since these outings, my memory on those is growing thin and I will likely focus on pictures. …. I know you all love pictures! …. And these pictures might help me to recall what has happened and how the outing felt. “Franzi & Franzi” (#2) In order to not let this posting go without a picture, I selected another “Franzi & Franzi” for you. These two  pictures were taken in the summer of 2023 and show Franziska and her alter ego at one of the wine hot spots in Frankfurt’s “New Old Town.” You might also recognize that the picture on the r

Helau and Alaaf: Carnival is coming!

Today is an important day to all who are into carnival. In Germany (and maybe elsewhere as well), 11.11 at 11.11 a.m. is the kick-off of the carnival season, the so-called "fifth season," which ends on Ash Wednesday, which - in 2024 - happens to be on Valentin's day. What a cosmic concidence !!! Carnival, as you know, is a large dress-up as somebody or something else party and doing crazy things. Hence, today is a perfect day for Franziska to resurface, even though I  doubt  that there will be many carnevalists out in Frankfurt today and I  hope  that Franziska will be anything but viewed as one of them. In any case, Franziska is getting ready for a day out and about at that very moment this post is published. I still owe you a posting on Franziska’s year-end 2022 evening as her brunette self. After an enjoyable day out and about in Frankfurt, Franziska headed home to get ready for the evening. From downtown Frankfurt that is just a 20-minute walk or a 5-minute ride on th
