In terms of Franzi’s outings, this week in September 2025 was great. My wife was away for the entire week, and I planned and carried out three outings en femme within 7 days. It is not that I am trying to hide anything from her. It is simply having little better to do when she is away.
I mentioned before that our location provides for ample opportunities to enjoy culture, due to the fact that we live in the mini-Metropolis Frankfurt and have two state capitals Wiesbaden, the capital of Hesse, the state where Frankfurt is located, and Mainz, the capital of Rhineland-Palatinate, in close proximity (around 45 km each).
On that Sunday in late September, I took a day trip to Mainz. I had bought a ticket for “The Addams Family” at “Staatstheater” (Stately Theater) Mainz, and as taking public transport back to Frankfurt late in the evening can be a challenge, I took the car to get to Mainz. And since my wife was away with my car, I got to enjoy taking her convertible.
Portraits of the day
During my weekend trip crossdressed to Aachen, I bought this very, very light satin animal print jumpsuit. It was great to wear. And I combined it with that short black leather jacket, purchased during the same trip, and some moderate-heel pumps.

And then something happened that could have ended up as a pretty difficult situation: I put my purse and keys on the driver seat of the car and closed the door to ask a passerby to take a photograph of me with my wife’s convertible. When I tried to get into the car a minute later, the door was locked. I have heard of cases like that, and they can be difficult, depending on where you are and what your plans are. My plans weren’t critical at all, and I was not even 100 meters away from our home, but I was dressed en femme, I was locked out of the car and out of house and apartment, and my wife was far away and not expected to come back for a week. This is when emergency plan “1a” kicked in and I was on my way to Mainz less than 15 minutes later.

And guess what, there was time for some shopping … and for practicing poses …
… and for lunch at a simple Italian restaurant in the “FuZo (=FußgängerZone)” (pedestrian zone) of Mainz.
Another fun part of Franzi’s day out was the evening at “Staatstheater” Mainz. They were performing the musical “The Addams Family,” in which teenage Wednesday falls in love with an ordinary college student from Ohio. Slapstick comedy, absolutely, a lot of fun, though, no question.
You are familiar with Franzi pre-ordering her intermission drink. “Staatstheater” Mainz has a different concept that I like very much. Drinks are included, both before the show and during intermission. Hence, no line ordering and paying: you simply take a full glass from one of the many counters. Unfortunately, as I had to drive home, I had to limit my consumption to a minimum and move to alcohol-free alternatives.
You probably didn’t notice, but I changed shoes in the parking garage before the musical, because it felt that an event like this called for an extra inch or two of heel.
It was only on the way to Mainz that I registered my wife’s car in my parking app. It was sort of a foresight. And indeed, the door to the underground parking of “Staatstheater” Mainz opened miraculously when I drove up. Even better, while there was a line of 20+ people at the ticket machine after the musical, Franzi simply walked by, got in the car, and drove out of the parking garage. I love technology – if it works.
