Looking back and reminiscing: the year 2017 – "Bubbles are fun!"

Regular readers of my blog will know that I occasionally dip into my achieves. I am sure that I told you somewhere in my blog that I have been going out en femme since early 2013 – not talking about the embarrassing half-hearted attempts at passing as a woman during my college years. Since 2013, I have spent 135 days out-and-about, be it a full day or half-a-day or an evening. Why do I know that: Because I have taken pictures from the first day on and they sit nicely organized on my flash drive. Previous postings covering the year 2017 can be found at  Looking back and reminiscing: the year 2017 – Black and white dress Looking back and reminiscing: the year 2017 – Lessons learned   Looking back and reminiscing: the year 2017 – Skirt and pullover during the day … … LBD in the evening I’ve told you that I worked in a different city for a few years, where I spent my weekdays. That provided me with the opportunity to go out during the week. This is how I got to spend a total of 2...

Tosca

After a relaxed day out-and-about in her new Skinny Jeans, Franzi went home to change into an outfit suitable for the opera. Today’s performance at Opera Frankfurt was “Tosca,” which I hadn’t seen yet, I think. After a day in blue and black, I was in the mood for some color. “Tosca” is an opera in three acts – based on the drama “La Tosca” from Victorien Sardou – which was written and composed by Giacomo Antonio Domenico Michele Secondo Maria Puccini. Its premiere was in 1900 in Rome. The story is about love, political intrigue, and betrayal. The singer Tosca tries to save her lover Cavaradossi from the corrupt police chief Scarpia, but deception leads to tragedy and the deaths of all three. Is it culturally particularly valuable? I don’t think so. Was it entertaining? Very few parts were. Nonetheless, it provided a very welcome opportunity for Franzi to dress up and to go out. The outfit of the evening was a lovely LBD that I have had for easily 10 years. You have seen it in previous ...

Out-and-About in Skinny Jeans

Have you worn Jeans out en femme? Granted, wearing Jeans is something I do in DRAB very, very regularly. And, obviously, Jeans do not provide that flowing, silky feeling of a dress or skirt that most crossdressers enjoy so much. But, nonetheless, it is (or can be) a decidedly feminine appearance. For the look on that day in late September, I combined a new pair of 31/30 Skinny Jeans and black belt with a tight semi see-through flower-pattern black top (with a black cotton body underneath), a short black leather jacket, hose, and black ankle boots. It was a regular day out-and-about, the ones you have read about many times here on my blog. I got ready in the late morning and headed out around 12 noon. As it was nice weather, I walked the 25 minutes along the river “Main” to downtown Frankfurt, with some photo ops taken on the way. Thereafter, I headed straight to “Kleinmarkthalle,” that temple for food lovers in the heart of the city. Don’t miss it if you ever come to Frankfurt. I visit...
