Looking back and reminiscing: the year 2017 – How it looks to be consistent in your likings

Some more historic pictures, my dear readers. Please check my previous posting for some explanations and placement. This posting provides pictures and some short descriptions from three weekday evening outings in May 2017.

Portraits of the evening

At a restaurant. Unfortunately, I cannot recall which one. Typically, something in the picture or the dishes themselves (looks like Salmon carpaccio and a shrimp) trigger my memory, but I am at a loss here. If you are a regular reader of my blog and happened to of the observant type, you might notice that this green drinking water bottle has been a staple in my dinners for many years.

Obviously, some people are more skilled and others are less skilled at taking pictures. With that finding in mind, I nowadays try to instruct my chosen photographers quite accurately, as to what I want to see in the picture, e.g. my entire head or my feet.

This was at one of my favorite former wine bars and most likely, I have an Australian Shiraz (or Syrah, as this grape is called in Europe) in my glass. This is a wine I get to drink far too seldom, I have to say.

This was the second outing in May 2017. The outfit consisted of a shiny white satin shirt, a pink faux nappa leather jacket, a knee-length gray skirt, and strappy pink sandals with three-inch heels.

At an Italian restaurant and what I am eating there looks like a risotto. I love risotto, but you can easily screw it up if you don’t know what’s important about it. Fortunately, my wife is fantastic cook and her risotti are always great.

Aaah! Same wine bar as above. Doesn’t that look like a great bar? Syrah again? Most likely!

And here is May 2017 outing number three!

Portrait of the evening

Outfit of the evening: a short black wrap skirt with two or thee patent fasteners in the front, the same shiny white satin shirt as last time, a red leather jacket, and black ankle boots.

Dinner on the outside of a restaurant. I am somewhat baffled, not so much over the beer but over what looks like a steak knife.

Can you believe it? The same wine bar again. I am speechless. Three outings within one month, and they all ended at the very same wine bar. Must have been a good one 😀😀😀. The bar tender started to like me as well.

I think this was the evening when I was asked by three other persons – a couple visiting from Australia and a single lady – to join them at their table. After some persuation, I finally joined them. I am very sure that it did not take them long to notice that I am a man, but they made no reference to it. Australians are the coolest anyway. I love them. The three of us spent another 45 minutes together, talking and drinking Shiraz.

I hope you enjoyed my short dip into Franzi’s picture achieves. I will continue to include these on occasion. Or should I not?

Coming up next: Hamburg! Four great days en femme with Franzi at her best, providing for a great boost in her self-confidence.
