Weekend trip crossdressed: Saturday on the town in a cute summer dress

After an exciting evening in that wonderful new jumpsuit, Franziska was getting ready for a day on the town, Cologne that is.

Any cis girl can fall out of bed, be ready to head out the door 15 minutes later, and undoubtedly look like a woman. For Franziska, it takes about 1 to 1.5 h to be ready to head out the door and to look (for the most part) like a woman IF no decisions need to be made regarding outfit, shoes, wig, jacket, scarf, or coat etc. For those weekend trips, most of these decision have been made well in advance.

There was some international sports event taking place in Cologne that weekend, for which reason hotels happened to be quite expensive. For Franziska’s trips to Stuttgart and to Munich, I had chosen for a larger Hotel chain, both locations being some 15+ minutes walking from the city center. In Cologne, I had selected – also quite expensive – a smaller local hotel right in the historic center. This hotel shares the same name as, happens to be in the same complex with and is located just around the corner from one of the Kölsch breweries (or at least their flagship brewhouse pub/restaurant), for which reason there were several complimentary beers in the fridge of the hotel room and a voucher for one at the pub on the desk 😀.

Playing the tourist, with a part of the “Cathedral Church of Saint Peter" = “Kölner Dom” in the background. Those are the flat sandals, btw, that would have been the alternative to the heels with the jumpsuit the night before.

I may have mentioned before that I was born and raised in the northwest of Germany, in that very state, in which Cologne is located. Cologne is the home of this state’s public broadcasting agency, called “Westdeutscher Rundfunk” (WDR). I have grown up listening to their radio stations and watching their local TV program. I love public radio and public television, as I had written before on this blog. WDR is located in the heart of Cologne, very close to “Kölner Dom” and on the ground floor of their “Funkhaus” building is a café called “Funkhaus-Café.” The following picture was taken at the bar of this café.

  1. You look especially beautiful here, dear Franzi. Maybe it's the hair that is ideal.

I'm enjoying your adventures. I must go back to Cologne soon. I found the Roman museum especially interesting, but maybe that's my Mediterranean prejudice!

    1. Dear Sue, Thank for your wonderful compliment. I recently bought another wig and all three of them have been styled. Hence, at my next day out and about the challenge will be to make a decision which one to take. Love, Franzi
