After that much exciting art, lunch was in order. Finding a good restaurant was a little more difficult than expected. After a while, I found the perfect place, though: the terrace of one of Düsseldorf’s top hotels at the end of Königsallee (King’s Avenue), Düsseldorf’s posh shopping street.
And guess what, they were also serving oysters and that in a very classical arrangement. So, what are you seeing her in this picture: four French oysters, two pieces of lemon, wrapped in a lemon sleeve, red scallion vinaigrette, rye bread with cheese, and a glass of bubbles – a pink crémant. To me, that all makes sense, and it tasted just wonderful. I spare you the cultural and nutritive background of this combination, though. The mini French baguette is a little misplaced here, but it was good anyway.
Hauptbahnhof (Central Station). In German, we tend to combine words into one. According to the Guinness book of records, the longest German word is Donaudampfschifffahrtselektrizitätenhauptbetriebswerk = Main electrical depot of Danube steam boating. We also like long sentences and to make them particularly challenging to listen to, we tend to place the verb at the very end of them.
This is – to my knowledge – the only classical pub in Düsseldorf’s central station. I have been to this place many times, but that day it was my first time in drag. Whenever my life’s path has brought me close to it over the last decades, I have stopped here for an “Altbier.”
On the around 100-minute-long trip back to Frankfurt on the ICE high speed train, what better is there to do than to refresh and to build on recent experiences by working on my pictures.
On the local subway in Frankfurt, the last minutes before reaching home, and privacy, and the end of boundless femininity.
And that was it, Franzi’s fourth weekend trip crossdressed. And it was a wonderful experience again with lots of new impressions. As this posting goes out, the next weekend trip crossdressed is booked already, taking place in May 2025 and another one is scheduled and envisioned for October 2025.
Your story shows just how wonderful life is when you live it as a woman. Thanks for sharing. Looking forward to your next adventure. Sue x
ReplyDeleteDear Sue, Thank you for your visit and comment. As much as I enjoy my, say 15, days en femme per year, they represent a mere 4% of my time. For that reason, I am very happy to report that I experience living as a man as wonderful as well. Love, Franzi

Alles Liebe Violetta

Dear Rachael, Thanks for visiting my blog and for leaving a comment. Taking a weekend trip en femme is not a skill that falls from the skies. I have developed my skills and my comfort level over the years, before daring to do anything like that. I am very please to hear that you enjoy reading about it. Love, Franzi
