After that lovely afternoon out on the town, followed a lovely evening out. Franzi went to “Alte Oper” again, of which all of my regular readers have heard numerous times. It is more of a concert and musical venue, whereas operas are being performed that the Frankfurt Opera house.
That evening in mid-October, Joja Wendt, a German pianist and composer performed his current solo program. Throughout his career, he has played with several great international musicians. He is also known for his Boogie-Woogie. It was a really fun performance, as he is not only a great piano player but also a great story teller.
Franziska wore black pants and a red blouse. The wide pants consist of several layers, are quite heavy, and are lined in satin. Wearing some fine nylons underneath is pure bliss. You know what I mean, don’t you? You simply can’t stop playing with them, tugging on them, because is feels electrifying. The red crinkle blouse is from the same Scandinavian brand and looks and feels fantastic.
Portrait and outfit of the evening
“Alte Oper” Frankfurt. This is a real picture that I took that evening. No fakes, no AI, and no photoshop.

Did I ever tell you about Franzi’s leaning towards sparkling wine?
Waiting for the performance to start
I love performances at “Alte Oper,” amongst others because of the atmosphere, the building, the surroundings.
Interestingly, I recently went to “Alte Oper” in drab together with my wife – to see the "Rocky Horror Picture Show" – and I found myself searching for the men’s room, because for years, I had been to the lady’s room only.
Frankfurt’s subway “U6” stops at or underneath “Alte Oper” and ends a mere four stations further at “Ostbahnhof” (East Station). And guess what is located right outside of East Station? One of my favorite wine bars.
Back at home, after a short UBER ride from the wine bar. Better safe than sorry. What a wonderful evening out en femme, again. I love it.
I love your outfit, Franzi - just the right look for going to a piano recital. You're looking really beautiful, too. Your hair is ideal like that.
ReplyDeleteThe pants sound lovely to wear ... but stop tugging at your nylons in public, dear, people will think you have a leg disease! lol

Dear Sue, Thank you so much. I am still struggling with that wig, so it is nice to hear that you like it that way. Love, Franzi
DeleteStruggle away Franzi, the hair looks great. I'm a natural brunette so I strongly gravitate to blonde also. It does lift the spirit. Now I know why so many women are happy to be bottle blondes! Or were, in days of yore.
ReplyDeleteThank you Brianna, for your visit and comment. I have three blonde wigs and one brunette. I like all of them, but all comments and recommendations - also from my wife - clearly state that Franzi should be a blonde.
