Reminiscence of and feature on Franzi’s travels, including a brand new “Franzi&Franzi”

My last posting concluded my account on Franzi’s July 2024 weekend trip crossdressed to Düsseldorf. It was Franzi’s fourth such trip within the last two years. There were quite a number of comments posted on my contributions, which I am always very grateful for.

Incidentally, I went to Düsseldorf on business (in drab, of course) a few weeks after my weekend trip crossdressed. And as I was taking the train, I of course paid a visit to that very pub, featured in my last posting, to have an “Altbier” and to take the picture on the right below. Unfortunately, I could not pick the exact same angle, as in the picture on the left, because there was a loud and obnoxious group of poorly behaving and poorly dressed men sitting in the corner that I didn’t want to get too close to. In both cases, the picture was taken by the waitress (a different one, though).

I am also very proud to report that Stana awarded me the honor to feature an article I wrote on travelling en femme. Stana is the host of femulate.org, a wonderful, resourceful, and fun to read blog on crossdressing with daily postings, which she has been hosting for more than 18 years by now.

In that article, I talk about my modern-days adventures out-and-about, which started in 2013. I often receive compliments on my femme looks. But I want to stress that these looks and my comfort of being out-and-about en femme did not fall from the sky. To show you what I am talking about, please find two pictures below, one practicing at home in late 2012 and one from my first day out and about and in early 2013.

Next Steps

The coming posting will report on a wonderful day en femme that I had spent with my wife attending the Wagner Opera festival in August 2024. Some people love the opera, others loathe it. I like some of them and I dislike others, but I always prefer its atmosphere and style over, say, a hard rock festival. I am not saying that I do not appreciate a good hard rock song, though.
