Today is Thursday and while I finish writing this blog posting to send it off to you, I am sitting on the ICE high-speed train from Frankfurt to the fantastic city of Hamburg, for yet another weekend trip crossdressed, Franzi’s second one this year. This is Franzi’s weekend trip crossdressed # 6 in total and # 2 thereof with an extended length of three nights at the destination. With me on the train is the cerulean suitcase that you are familiar with already, filled with all you need for a variety of female dressing and a smaller second bag filled exclusively with shoes. As usual, I travel en femme and without any male backup clothes.
Let’s get back to Franzi’s trip to Aachen in May 2025. This is day two of three in the city of my Alma Marter and I was going to visit the urban quarter where I lived at that time. But first things first – some shopping. Outfit of the day was a petrol-colored miniskirt, a while sleeveless blouse, white sandals, and 7 denier nylons. And as it was still a little chilly in the morning, I had brought along a greyish leather jacket.
Portrait of the day
Coffee at a little tea shop – of all places! I tend to skip breakfast, but I do very much value a good coffee in the morning.
Successful shopping on Aachen’s pedestrian shopping street Adalbertstraße. I found several items, including a matching scarf for my skirt. I asked the sales lady for her opinion on two different ones, and we selected this plain-colored one.
From Aquis Plaza, a small shopping center at the end of Adalbertstraße, I walked to the quarter where I had lived. On the way, I came along a cozy wine shop, the interior of which was built entirely of historic French pharmacy furniture, all in wood, with wonderful cupboards and drawers. Due to lack of a proper license, the shop owner could not serve drinks and – believe it or not – offered a glass of wine to Franzi as a sample. We talked for a little while and discussed options for lunch in the area, before I headed on.
Lunch, in this case simple pasta rosso, outside at one of my regular pubs from 25+ years ago. For the wine, I followed the recommendation of the wine dealer, as he delivers to this place.
I walked though the quarter for a while and took a look at the bell button panel at the address where I lived. Much to my surprise, the lady beneath my small studio apartment, who had to regularly remind me of my cleaning duties of the staircase, actually still lives there.
On the way back to my hotel, I came along the municipal theater, where I spent a bit of time photographing and filming myself. Here is just one example.
Back at the hotel, after an already very exciting morning.
In the next posting – Franzi will lead you into the historic center of Aachen and introduce you to “Domkeller,” a fantastic student (and tourist) hangout and one that managed to sustain its charm and attractiveness.

DeleteNo picture of the bell button panel Franzi? Thanks for sharing your adventure with us, lovely outfit and great legs in that last photo. Best Wishes Lotte x
ReplyDeleteDear Lotte, Thank you very much for your comment and that great compliment on my legs. I am sitting on the train back to Frankfurt right now from my latest adventure. Love, Franzi
DeleteA nice account of a lovely trip to somewhere that sounds wonderful. I love your outfit. Petrel blue is a lovely colour. You look fantastic. xx
ReplyDeleteDear Deanna, Thanks so much for your comment and compliments. I love those trips as well, but - having just returned from Hamburg - I can tell you they are a lot of work, they are strenuous, and they are expensive. Well, the last point may also have to do with Franzi's culinary preferences :-) Love, Franzi
DeleteLooking very cute, Franzi. That colour really suits you.
ReplyDeleteNice to hear of your positive interactions with staff at the places you visited.
Maybe you should have rung the bell and re-introduced yourself to the lady below your old apartment. "Maybe I scrub up better now" may not translate well into German, though.
Sue xx
Dear Sue, Thanks very much for your visit and lovely comment. I didn't want to risk that lady to have a heart attack. Love, Franzi
