This was the last day of Franzi’s weekend trip crossdressed to the wonderful city of Hamburg. The program consisted of breakfast at a popular café, a brief visit to an arts forum in the “Arkadenviertel,” picking up luggage at the hotel, and the trip back to Frankfurt and home. This posting covers the breakfast only.
Portrait of the day
The outfit of the day was a nice silky long dark gray skirt, a silky blouse with small dots, a wide black belt, and ankle boots …
… worn with a black blazer …
… and my new winter coat. I guess you’ll start to understand why it was so important to be successful on day two of this four-day trip to find a black winder coat, as so many outfits depended on that particular item.
Again, I walked toward the city center, past a fountain in the courtyard between city hall and the chamber of commerce.
I was very very lucky to have gotten in at the café. I knew this place was very popular, but I was too lazy to make a reservation. Besides, I didn’t want to occupy a table by myself but sit at the bar. Two couples right in front of me were sent away due to a lack of available seats and not having reserved. Then it was my turn to sweetly smile and to say, “I’d hoped for a spot at the bar” (smile, wink wink). The waiter turned around scanned the bar area, turned back to me and said, “I’m sure we can do something for you here.”
It is a classical French bistro, as I am sure you can tell by the interior and by my breakfast selection.
The atmosphere was festive, but with a certain noise level. After breakfast, which was topped off with a glass of Crémant, Franzi headed back to “Jungfernsteg,” that former dam of the river Alster, of which you had seen pictures in earlier postings.
Stay tuned, just in case I will publish another posting.
