Another museum: nice, but less impressive. Still a good opportunity to practice some posing. Apparently, watching posing videos on Instagram isn’t paying off yet for Franzi. Speaking of Instagram, you can find Franziska there as well. All this social media stuff btw: blogging, reading blogs, CDH, Instagram, only takes place in Franzi’s reality, but not in that of her male alter ego. He’s on LinkedIn for professional reasons and that’s it.
Towards the end of this trip, it feels that my hairdo is giving in. You might have noticed that I picked my medium length blonde wig for this trip, which is some 10 years old and – according to Franzi’s hairdresser – “has seen better times.”
For my next trip, I will likely take my newer, long-length blonde wig. Next trip? Correct, I am planning another trip this year and my current leaning is towards our capital Berlin.
Franzi and the arts at “Bucerius Kunstforum” Hamburg.
This is a cute pose, I think. Don’t know how it came about.
After the visit to “Bucerius Kunstforum,” I headed back to my hotel to pick up my luggage and then headed on to Hamburg central station. As I was somewhat lazy, I ordered a cab to pick me up at the hotel.
Hamburg central station. It is a terminal station, the same as Frankfurt central. Conceptually, I like terminal stations, because the concourse is somewhat of a central point, with buzzling activity. In terms of traffic management, a through station is much more efficient, though. Take Frankfurt, heading into the terminal station Frankfurt Central and leaving again, will easily cost you 20 minutes versus crossing Frankfurt via the through station Frankfurt South. There are plans to build an additional underground through station with four tracks for ICE high-speed trains only, some 40 meters underneath Frankfurt central station. Test drillings are already running, construction is to start in the early 2030s, and conclusion is expected in the early 2040s. I think it to be more like to be in the early 2050s.
And then the same thing happened again as on the way up to Hamburg: same seat, same effect, again a lady sitting right across from me for the next three-and-a-half hours, as described in my posting from 18.02.2026. She minded her own business, though, and didn’t pay attention to me. But I earned a smile and "thank you" from her, when I gave her one of the free “Favorite Customer” chocolates from Deutsche Bahn that I had received at the in-train kiosk.
Given that it was day #4 of Franzi’s trip to Hamburg, that it was late Sunday afternoon, and that I’ve had enough “en femme” challenges, I took a taxi home after my arrival to Frankfurt central station.
Transitioning
Let me be honest with you: such a four-day weekend trip crossdressed is expensive, it is hard work, it takes weeks (if not months) of preparation (both planning and packing), it is physically taxing, and it takes time, lots of time.
But it is so much fun !!!
Spread the news. Go out and show yourself to the world.
I loved my hotel room in Hamburg. It had storage space for all my clothes and for all my paraphernalia. And it had three large mirrors, one of them on the inside of the door. This is how I took all these pictures, except the one in the middle.
